SOLO WORK
OVERVIEW: A full brand identity for StrataSound, a fictional music festival set in the Utah desert. The concept blends geological strata with sound‑wave abstraction, using bold color, layered textures, and rhythmic compositions to capture heat, movement, and energy.
DESIGN PROCESS
Analog scanning techniques for the wavy textures; Adobe Photoshop for the Utah-inspired arch imagery; Adobe Illustrator for typography, layout, and final compositions. The brand was applied across a poster, Instagram post, and VIP pass, each adapting the core visual language to its format.
GOALS
Develop a cohesive festival brand across three deliverables—a poster, Instagram post, and VIP ticket—while maintaining consistency in tone, color, and visual rhythm.
SUCCESSES & CHALLANGES
The project successfully established a unified visual identity using bold colors, abstract shapes, and desert-inspired forms. The poster served as the anchor, setting the tone for all other assets. The main challenge was balancing the intensity of the visuals with text readability, as well as ensuring consistency across different platforms while tailoring each design to its specific audience and format.
